This was a nice hotel to stay at, and thank goodness for that as we had to stay 2 months due to a house fire.
The best 2 things about the hotel were the breakfast offerings - they had a weekly menu with a wide variety of fresh fruit daily and shocker here - how incredibly comfortable the bed was. It was so soft that the first night I thought it'd just be too soft, you could feel yourself sink into it. It was really nice. Now that my wife and I are home we can't believe how much better it was than our pillow top style mattress at home.
The woman in charge of breakfast, Sue, is just wonderful. She's very friendly and will offer you table service or to custom make things.
Another hotel bonus - they serve dinner Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Dinner wasn't nearly as good as breakfast, but still having them order in pizza, bbq burgers or hot dogs, and make chicken quesadillas is better than having to go out for every meal.
What were the down sides of this hotel you ask?
1) the gym is horrible - unless you want to just use 1 of the 2 treadmills. In my experience it was normally empty, but it's super small and they don't even have a bench so you can do bench press, fly, etc lifts.
2) we were at the hotel long enough that the staff started taking shortcuts when cleaning our room, so the soap dish turned pink, etc
3) they apparently don't have enough towels to go around, several times the hotel would fill up and we had to go downstairs and ask for towels. It seems we were on the list to get them, they'd just run short - but when do they plan on delivering them when it's 10 at night and they're still doing laundry?
4) the AC unit was fairly noisy.
I think the average price for a night was fairly steep so the value might not compare to a cheaper hotel elsewhere, but it was a good place to stay.
