“Nice place to stay with dogs - if you can talk down the $100 fee for pets.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011 via mobile

This is a nice, clean hotel with good accommodations and is pet friendly too. It is located close to shopping, highway and there are nice trails just beyond the parking lot for walking your dogs. The main complaint I have is the $100 pet fee. I was only staying one night and was able to talk them down to $50 - still kinda high. But overall a nice place to stay.

“Would recommend to a friend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

This was a nice hotel to stay at, and thank goodness for that as we had to stay 2 months due to a house fire.

The best 2 things about the hotel were the breakfast offerings - they had a weekly menu with a wide variety of fresh fruit daily and shocker here - how incredibly comfortable the bed was. It was so soft that the first night I thought it'd just be too soft, you could feel yourself sink into it. It was really nice. Now that my wife and I are home we can't believe how much better it was than our pillow top style mattress at home.

The woman in charge of breakfast, Sue, is just wonderful. She's very friendly and will offer you table service or to custom make things.

Another hotel bonus - they serve dinner Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Dinner wasn't nearly as good as breakfast, but still having them order in pizza, bbq burgers or hot dogs, and make chicken quesadillas is better than having to go out for every meal.

What were the down sides of this hotel you ask?
1) the gym is horrible - unless you want to just use 1 of the 2 treadmills. In my experience it was normally empty, but it's super small and they don't even have a bench so you can do bench press, fly, etc lifts.
2) we were at the hotel long enough that the staff started taking shortcuts when cleaning our room, so the soap dish turned pink, etc
3) they apparently don't have enough towels to go around, several times the hotel would fill up and we had to go downstairs and ask for towels. It seems we were on the list to get them, they'd just run short - but when do they plan on delivering them when it's 10 at night and they're still doing laundry?
4) the AC unit was fairly noisy.

I think the average price for a night was fairly steep so the value might not compare to a cheaper hotel elsewhere, but it was a good place to stay.

“Skip this one, unless you have pets”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2011

The staff here were terrific, but it was like a Pet hotel, there were dogs everywhere. Their loving owners walked their dogs outside, then back in the hotel.
The mattress of our room was the worse since I stayed at a Motel 8 in 1974, the sofa bed mattress was worse.
My wife is hadicapped and with other hotel you have a walk in shower, not here. I had to help her get into a tub that had a seat. This is only the second marriott in 25 years that I have rated so poorly.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms that had pets in them during the last stay. If you are hadicapped avoid this hotel their...

“Excellent customer service!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2011

Due to the recent tanker fire in Lincoln, we needed a place for 2 of our clients to stay after they were evacuated from their homes. From the very first phone call, to our check out, the level of customer service remained excellent. We were all treated like valued guests and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you to all the staff...you did a GREAT job!!

“Great Place, Great Staff, Great Value”

We have owned a 4 diamond property and have travelled throughout Europe and the US. We are no strangers to good properties and value, and the Roseville Residence Inn is very good. Staff is uniformly helpful and smiling. Suites were spacious and clean. Although located on busy streets, fairly quiet. Free internet, breakfast and dinners were nice touches. Will definitely choose the Residence Inn for our future stays in Roseville (too visit our new grand baby)

Room Tip: Rooms bordering the park are nice and quiet.
