They say they have 2 queen beds in a room but when you get here and see for yourself its 2 full beds. Very small & Very outdated rooms. Rooms have no window screens and bees can easily come in which was a nightmare for me since I'm allergic to bee stings I had to take my pick between air or life. I am sure there are better hotels for the same price out there in LA. Don't be fooled by the yummy cookies they give you in the remodeled lobby.

My partner and I usually stay at Double Tree Hotels at least once a month, however the past couple times we stayed here it was just WEIRD! The second to the last time we stayed here we heard footsteps on the floor above us pacing back and forth all night. It just didn't sound normal. And when we woke up in the morning all the room lights were on when we remember clearly that we turned them off.
A couple months later we decided to give it another shot and I was woken up at 5am by the shower! It turned on by itself!!!!! We gathered our stuff and ran out of there fast!
Other than the creepy stuff, the rooms are really nice, clean and the staff is very friendly. I would only recommend this hotel if you are into weird creepy stuff like that.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The room had a refrigerator and microwave! There was a mall across from the hotel and access to the highway was close by.
Got to spend my holiday with friends/family in Pasadena. Stayed at the DoubleTree. The room was super sized for one but they had done magic to the space. Well organized. It was truly a retreat for me. European style sofa was great. Ottoman / table was my favorite, served 2 purposes for that size room. Clever. The room had a seamlessly attached bath exceeding my expectation of space and comfort.
A big hats off to the restaurant and front desk staff. They did a great job with my requests. I just had to heat up some soup store bought for that weather evening when they were busy with a private event. I thought they might make a fuss. I was impressed with their service.
It was a good holiday for me overall.
