While the property seems nice, the hotel management's customer service is poor at best. My fiance and I (and our dog) stayed there on the last night of a long road trip. After driving all day in awful weather, we were REALLY looking forward to enjoying a nice hotel before hitting the final leg of our drive home. The hotel was nice for about 45 minutes. Then the power went out. The hotel did not have generator power for the rooms, so we sat in the dark, thinking the power would be back on shortly. After 15 minutes, we went to the front desk. We were given a glow stick and told they were working on the problem.
We were also quite disappointed with the amount of noise we could hear in the room. Because the power was out, people were walking the hallways and going in and out, and it sounded as if they were IN our room.
After sitting in the dark (or the light of a glow stick) for a few hours, we decided to try to get some sleep. When the power came back on at 12:30am, all the lights in the room woke us up, which was unpleasant.
Upon checkout, we inquired about receiving a discounted rate due to our uncomfortable stay. We were told we would have to contact the manager, who was not in at the time. Since then, I called the manager and left multiple messages, but have not received a response. We will not be staying at this property ever again.
