“Something different around each turn”

Staying at the Mission Inn has been on my bucket list since I'd been there for dinner eight years ago.The Inn is beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was larger than I expected it to be. The room overlooked the cantina so it was a little noisy in the evening. We went to the Sunday brunch which had a fantastic array of delicious food but I made the mistake of not checking the price ahead of time. I did not see the price advertised anywhere. Let's just say it was the most expensive breakfast I've ever eaten. We will definately stay here again if we get back out to Riverside. Take the guided tour - do not miss out on the details.

“Don't Miss This One !”

I decided to stay here as one of those 'let's give this a shot' as it looked nice and very different to the usual places I stay in when on business trips. I stayed a Sunday night - Superbowl Sunday, and from check in to check out, including dinner on Sunday and lunch on Monday, both eaten outdoors, the whole stay was an absolute delight. The people employed in any line of business are the dead giveaway to the right or wrong training given. The staff here certainly meet and exceed the grade. The food was good, rooms clean - everything was just fine and to top it all off the architecture of this building is just surprise after surprise. I took my camera with me on this trip just to capture some of the atmosphere and to show my wife and see if she would like a weekend away there.

“Expensive but worth it!”

It's really worth paying a little more then other hotels around the area when you get to sleep in a piece of history building!

“Something for everyone (and I never say that)”

If you are a history loving person intent on authenticity or a shallow yuppie with plenty of work done looking to impress, the Mission Inn has it. I am in the former camp and stayed here when visiting Riverside for the Dickens Festival & Festival of lights. The Inn really has to be seen to be believed and you should call and talk to a desk clerk and let them know your preferences. A historic building that has been added onto over and over the inn is a destination in itself. Great service, clean and comfortable, if you come out to Riverside for any reason stay here and eat outside at one of the patio restaurants. Comfy bed, magical place.

Room Tip: Use the phone to talk to someone and let them know what you like, and what your price range is, thou...
