We checked nearby hotels and decided on this one. I had checked online before we left and I really wasn't planning on staying here, but, when we went to the front desk the girl was nice enough to show me the rooms. I was pleasantly surprised how nice they looked. And when she told me it was only $40 per night (we were staying 4) we decided that we couldn't beat that deal. We stayed at the room at the far end on the corner...King size bed...fridge, microwave..usual amenities...The manager was very nice and when we needed something, he was very helpful. It was an older motel, so it did have signs of wear and tear. The carpet had a few stains (permanent) but was clean. In the onsite laundry room, the washer worked but the dryer did not dry my clothes after 2 tries. The water in the bathroom drained slow but not really a problem. A few cosmetic blemishes..like the bathroom door had some water damage...but overall, it was a decent room....had a decent continental breakfast and I had no problem with the wireless connection.. it was close to everything and had a restaurant next door...no pool though...We probably wouldn't have had time to use one anyway since we were gone visiting old friends most of the day.......We would stay there again...
