“The room was filthy!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 May 2011

I chose this hotel for its pricing and reviews. Big mistake. Check in was fine. Once in the room I began to seriously question my reasoning for selecting this hotel. There were no pillows on the bed. The towels were stained in numerous spots. The carpeted baseboards were peeling from the walls. There was a very thick layer of gray dust all along the baseboards. Crumbs and debris were all along the walls and in the corners. There was a small amount of blood on the inside of the shower curtain. The hotel door had obviously been kicked in b/c the trim was falling off. It was ripped from the top down the side were the "security" latch was attached. It was useless. The card key had the room number on it so who knows how many may have had a copy of the room key. On the pro side - once I got CLEAN pillows (the first one I was given was used and literally filthy) I did have a good night's sleep. The air conditioner worked really well. The continental breakfast was cereal and danishes - as advertised. Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Their standard of cleanliness is seriously lacking.

“Basic but comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 March 2011

We stayed only one night on our drive back home. The price was right, and we were pleased with the service we received. The continental breakfast is pretty ordinary, but it was filling. The included wi-fi was a bit iffy, but speedy when connected.

“Great for a stopover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2011

We were on our way from SFO to LAS and made an overnight stop at Ridgecrest. The hotel was really good for what I expected.

A standard room equipment for a motel, very friendly staff, a clean room and even a "small" breakfast (juice, coffee, tea, muffins, cookies) the WiFi was good as well.

I would not hesitate to stay there again!

“Pleasant stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2011

I really don't understand why there are so many bad reviews about this place. We stayed there for one night on our way back from the Death Valley and we were very pleased with the price and the service.

The room we got was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The stuff is very nice and kind with a friendly attiutude. We had a great stay there and we would recommend this place to anyone.

“rude staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2011

This was the most expensive hotel in our entire trip in the area and it was average to say the best. We found that the staff was very rude. Five minutes after we arrived, we had a trying day so we got settled in right away, boiling some water, heating up some food, turning on the lights etc., then the fuse blew out and everything went dark. We called front desk to report this, and the guy came to our room and the first thing he said was "what'd you do?!" in a very accusatory voice. What could we have possibly done? Overloaded the fuse on purpose for funsies? That was unacceptable.
