Two room suite, one with queen bed and other with sofa bed (living room type) and a little kitchen well stocked with all you need to even make full meals, and a lovely bathroom (tub/shower). A pool and fitness center were offered, but we didn't use them. We were two senior ladies and were wonderfully surprised by the excellent and pleasant service which even included a breakfast bar! Site is less than 10 minutes to Menlo Park (Stanford University) where we were visiting relatives. (and probably about 20 minutes south of San Francisco). We arrived on a Thursday in June for 4 nights and te rate was an (unbelievable) $76.00 per night! and lots of free parking! We will definitely return!

First impression was great.The room ,the kitchen and the view (bay facing) were fantastic.The hotel Manager Ms Bridget,Larry,Ryon etc were very friendly.

Surprised this hotel doesn't have a higher rating. It suited me quite well. Though TownePlace Marriott is better know for executive stays, I can see how it would suit many travelers. It is a clean and quiet hotel with very helpful staff. The fitness center was small but everything was in working order. Though you're not in a city center there is a nice market and other stores nearby.

I stayed here with my 11 & 3 year old for two nights. Unfortunately, ~ not as part of our original plan~the other member of our party had to take the car, so we had to entertain ourselves for several hours each day. All of us loved walking the nature path directly behind the hotel and watching the ducks and butterflies. On one excursion, my 11 year old and I took books and my 3 year old took cars and he played for a long while as we sat on a picturesque bench. We had a lap top so the free wireless in the room was also utilized. The kitchen was well equipped to make a nutritious lunch. The bed (and according to the kids - the pull out) was comfortable. The continental breakfast was adequate. And the staff was friendly.
