I spend 2 weeks in Towneplace suites, Redwood city in Aug 2011. I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite . I was specific to have a kitchen , this place suited by requirement. The kitchen got microwave, electric stove, dish washer (of course the room service do the washing in it) ,fridge , coffee machine, minimum vessels and cutlery . It was quite functional for a minimum cooking and reheating affair. Of course not enough for a Indian cooking (I'm an Indian).
The bed is quite cosy and comfortable. The aircondition is not centralized , you need to manually switch on and off for all the rooms. There was adequate storage space in bedrooms. Ample natural light in one room and no window in the other one. The one with the window was facing a creek , it was quite good in the morning .
There was a common laundry available, but i felt the number of machines were not enough for the number of suites . So you might need to to go early in the morning to finish it fast.
The complementary breakfast provided was quite limited. Cereals, fruits, milk and muffins. All out of the box (or cover) items and nothing freshly cooked.
The sofa provided in the hall was not very comfortable. There were TV's in hall and both bedroom. Not bad for 160$ per day. I paid the same for single room suite in near by sofitel.
