I checked in to the hotel in mid February and while my first night was fine, the second night was a disaster- -I arrived at 9:10 PM after a business dinner; at 9:30 all of the power went out . It was not restored despite the fact that the manager said it would be fixed by daybreak. When I arose the next morning we still had no power, no hot water or other amenities Needless to say my colleagues and I checked out with reassurances that we'd be fully reimbursed. However, when I tried to get a refund for the night with no power the management blatantly refused saying that I should pay for the "privileged" of having 20 minutes of light the night before. I later learned that my colleague's bed pillow had a foot print on it and that the window in her bathroom was left open. When questioned about this the management flatly denied that this happened. While I understand that there are sometimes kinks in hotel stays I cannot understand how the management of any establishment that claims to be reputable can be so unconcerned about the lack of sanitary conditions. I'm also baffled by the poor customer service that's accorded to it's guests. This is not only America's worst inn, but also America's cheapest!
