Stayed here for three nights returning via LA from a cruise around Tahiti.

Well placed, plenty of places to eat locally.

Did not eat at hotel.

Beds comfortable, provided a great base for the Redondo Beach area.

We selected this hotel for its proximity to LAX and because it is operated by Pacifica Hotels.

It is an older property with dated room decor; however, our beds and pillows were very comfortable and cozy.

Before retiring, I noticed that when I walked into the bathroom the light turned on automatically. I didn't want this to happen when I used the bathroom in the middle of the night, as the bright light would awaken me. I called the front desk and was informed that problems such as this are solved only from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

I was disappointed that the level of service at this hotel fell so far short of what is provided at other Pacifica Hotel properties.

I've been to this area a half a dozen times and thought I'd give this hotel a try. I really liked it. It's located right across from the harbor and within walking distance to several great restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little dated but clean. The beds are firm but not back breaking firm. Breakfast was adequate: hard boil eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal and waffles.

I've stayed several times at the Best Western plus Avita Suites in Torrance and would choose this hotel over that one. It's a better location, a little less costly, and doesn't have that awful deodorizer pumped through the hotel.

We stayed here 2 nights returning from Las Vegas before flying out at Lax. We know Redondo Beach very well and it is very close to Lax and lots of freeways to get around. There are also nice restaurants within walking distance.

Parking is easy and it is free. We were checked in very quickly and our room on the second level was quite large. It was clean and tidy with a fridge and free bottled water. Breakfast is included and the downstairs dining room had everything you could need.

Although this property is a little dated in decor it compares favourably to other more expensive properties in the area. It really is value for money and we hope to stay there again.
