Rooms are clean, they even dust and clean shower/bathtub, and not every motel in this category does it. Management is nice, mostly helpful. Breakfast isn't great, but it's normal for motels, and you are not rushed or looked over the shoulder.

Room was okay, it even had a fridge and microwave, unusual in this price class. But the bathroom had a tiny counter, hardly any room for my stuff, but the worst thing was the smell in the room, like a strong chemical smell, common to motels in this price range, but really strrong.

My boyfriend and I had been having problems with our place up the hill due to a large amount of snow that took out the electricity. So this was our second night staying in a motel until our electricity turned back on. My dad had recommended the Super 8 saying that the people were friendly and the room wasn't that bad. His only complaint was the Wi-fi, which, ironically, was my only good comment. I'm normally not this picky with motels, but I can not just stand by while this disgrace of a motel still gets innocent people in.

-Service behind the desk was bad
-She didn't even tell me how to get to my room, she just vaguely pointed at where it was. We wound up walking all the way around the building until I found it
-Parking lot didn't look safe to leave my car in.
-When we went into the room, it immediately smelled like urine. Like someone had just gone to the bathroom like all over the room or something.
-We checked the bed sheets because we got the impression that the room wasn't clean and sure enough, the first blanket we turned over had a semen stain on it.
-Asked for new sheets and she immediately got offended and said that the maid cleaned the room and swore that the sheets were clean. She refused to give us new sheets.
-There were stains all over the room.
-Couldn't sleep because I thought someone was going to break in all night.
-The bed gave me a rash.
-The heater didn't work and we were cold all night.
-The heater intensified the urine smell in the room.
-The continental breakfast was stale everything.

I am not recommending this and am never coming back.

It's definitely not the nicest place I've stayed, but if you're traveling on a budget (like I was), I guess it's one of those "you get what you pay for" deals. I can't honestly say the room/bathroom was clean, or the service was good, or that I would stay there again given the choice, but I can say the bed was comfortable enough for a good night sleep, the area was quiet, and Redlands is a decent-enough, mid-sized suburb. There were lots of chain restaurants and stores right by the hotel which made things easy. However, in all honesty, I'd recommend looking elsewhere - even if you are traveling on a budget. There's tons of hotels in the Redlands/Yucaipa area...I'm sure there's a better one somewhere.
