The location at Lake Shasta attracted us.
It was off season, the restaurant has limited hours and closed
just prior to our arrival. We were one of two rooms rented, thus it was quiet, if you don't mind the I-5 bridge traffic, which didn't disturb our sleep nearly as much as the bed did. The King room was very clean and minimally furnished, i.e., bed, small table with two chairs, TV and two night tables with clock radio and lamps. It was old (bathroom was completely ceramic tile on floor, walls and shower) but well maintained. The water pressure was great. New windows had been installed, however, need to be triple paned to provide for the highway traffic. We enjoyed the tranquility of the setting and wished for softer beds. Thrilled that the US Forest Service has teamed with Seven Crowns to provide services at such an enjoyable area.
