I stayed at this hotel for around 2 weeks and had a nice experience during my stay.

Rooms are clean and smoke free and the housekeeping will clean my room every other day. But I noticed there are some inconsistency in the standard of the cleaning but that was not a big problem to me. Ample parking space available and a few restaurants nearby [Brookfields, and 1 japanese restaurant like around 2-3 mins walk]. Gas station is just at the junction of the hotel and is very convenient as well

Breakfast wise, not much variety but is enough to fill me up. They served waffles, bagels, bread, cereals, eggs, yougurts [continental type] but I would like to compliment a personnel at the breakfast section as she is very friendly and helpful as well :)

Before i checked out, I done my laundry and there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer, so you have to check out the availability from time to time and can be quite tiring if a lot of people is using it

Overall a quite experience and nice stay. Good job!

This place is an old Property purchased from another chain and now is a La Quinta. Looks ok from the lobby, but once you get past the elevators kind of run down. The guy at the front counter was good and the staff seemed to be friendly. Rooms were pretty dated but comfortable and bath was clean but beat up from years of use. I would probably not stay here again but it was not a horrible experience or anything. Btw, it still has some smoking rooms which means that some hallways etc. you can smell some second hand smoke which is not cool if you are not a smoker.

After arriving, we were greeted with smiles and salutations. Yay! Up to the room to settle in.
After finding out that none of the electronics were working (coffee maker, refridgerator, Microwave) we called downstairs and were assured they would send someone.

When we returned from our evening out- they still didn'tf work- and no one had been there. The next morning we called and were once again assured that when we returned- everything would be working. Nope. The refridgerator still was not working. We called again but there no one ever came back to check on it.

The place was very reasonable and though we could understand how hard it must be to keep every thing working in every room- these were the advertised advantages. So, we left after two days unsatisfied- but eager to find our happy place. ;)

Here's the kicker. when we returned home- there were duplicate new charges for our room on my card. The room was pre-paid. Now, I was angry. When I called the girl said that "oh yeah, I made a mistake and swiped the card but I didn't know how to fix it."

Whaa?

So- I wouldn't necessarily say that this hotel was bad intentionally. They just didn't have a clue.
