I have to give the place five stars if only because of the staff. I walked in at the last minute after a long travel day and they were able to accommodate me entirely. No question about it; if I am back again this is where I am staying.

Spent six nights here over Christmas, 2011...a great choice. Spacious, well-furnished, well-equipped, king-bedded suites with large living room and full kitchen, and two large flat-screen tv's. Suite was cleaned daily even over the holiday. Excellent buffet breakfast each morning with lots of newspapers for everyone. Friendly and very competent staff...minor plumbing problem fixed on Christmas Eve! Located in a quiet neighbourhood, but near the expressways.

All rooms are currently being renovated in sections with completion in May, 2012. Will always stay here when we come from Canada to visit our family in Pleasanton, CA.

The first thing we noticed when we walked into our room was a big easy chair covered with a baggy slipcover--not too reassuring. The hotel does advertise that it's planning a big renovation for next year, which is a good thing, because our room, at least, was dark, drab and a little sad.

Well-equipped kitchen, though, and reasonably clean. Our ice-maker didn't work, and the hotel does not have an ice machine for the use of its guests (the desk staff gave us a very little from the hotel's kitchen). We were having a pre-dinner cocktail party with 8 friends (and they didn't have ice either), so the lack of ice was kind of a negative thing in our case.

Good bed, but the sheets were too small for it, so we got the exposed-mattress effect when we turned back the covers. Even with these detractions, you do get a lot for your money here, and the desk staff was very positive and helpful. For the price, we'd stay here again, particularly once their remodel is completed.

as always, the best beds money can buy. after a hard day of golfing and partying, nothing was better that knowing i was going to spend a night on those hyatt beds. room was great overall and only ate breakfast one day. so-so same oh same oh. used the kitchen for other breakfasts. worked great. i always enjoy staying at this place.
