I normally book the Marriott nearby but an Oracle convention had everything else booked up. The only room left to reserve was a two bedroom suite. The suite was a second (top) floor room with two bedrooms. It was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. Since it was the only room (they said) that was left I was stuck next to the highway--and yes, it is loud! So I slept in the room away from the highway with the french doors shut. But I really did not get to experience the highway noise very long as a squirrel camped out in the ceiling and made loud scraping noises at night. I called reception and they sent someone right away--he was surprised how loud it was too. No fuss - they agreed to move me to an accessible room which was equally nice and he returned in minutes with a new key.

Overall it is a very nice and clean hotel. The only reason I give it 4 of 5 is due to the proximity to the highway.

Stayed here 2 nights with my father & stepmom. The place had 2 massive bedrooms with full bath so we had our privacy. Nice living room between the 2 rooms and a cool little kitchen wiht amenities like a coffeemaker stocked with coffee, etc. Nice spread for the buffet breakfast.

Stayed here recently and was very impressed, I stay in hotels year round and this one is very nice, all the rooms have two flat screen tvs plus a nice kitchen area. The beds are really comfortable. Kinda hard to find but well worth it. They have a happy hour everyday with hot food and in the morning as well. Enjoy :)

If you are looking for a hotel room in Pleasant Hill or Concord, I believe this one is a good find. Unlike so many hotels that sit right on a busy freeway or major roadway, this Residence Inn is tucked within a quiet community of townhouses and condos. As you head down the road, with your directions in hand, you may question if you are even heading in the right direction. But, there it is, sitting away from the bustle.

Now, if you are looking for a hip, cool party place, this is not it! This place is really quiet! That worked for me.

The hotel looks to be older, but I found everything to be maintained nicely. For my needs a huge plus was the large size of the room. There was plenty of room for working, storing stuff or just hanging out.

There are a wide variety of restaurants and stores nearby. Plus the room has a full working kitchen for cooking your own meals.

I liked the included breakfast. It had some hot items, like waffles, oatmeal, eggs and potatoes. It also had cereals, fruit, yogurt and more.
