Wow! This place REALLY exceeded my highest hopes. Only because it was so darn cheap so I couldn't imagine it being as nice as everyone else said. It is!
We had a room with 2 king beds and a fireplace. It was very classy, modern and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very clean and updated as well. Beds were super-comfortable with high-end sheets and blankets. The little towel animals were a nice touch as well. I used the fireplace and the room heated up quick! It was great.
We opted out of the ocean view only b/c we got in fairly late and were leaving again first thing in the morning. However, if you're spending a couple of nights here, DO get an ocean view room. For a Thursday night, we paid only $110 for the room!! I think for an extra $50 you could get the ocean view. Prices are probably higher on the weekends.
The lobby is super-cute and very nice. Really tasty cookies at 5pm. The breakfast area is fantastic and the breakfast was delicious. Plenty to choose from in a great atmosphere.
The surrounding grounds are just as nice- we walked around the gardens and sat there for awhile watching the sun go down. We also walked down to the beach...which is right there too. There was a small pool and jacuzzi which we didn't use but it sure looked inviting.
This place is perfect - it doesn't have that huge hotel feeling where you can get lost and nobody cares. On the flipside, it's not some cheap motel either. It's cozy, quaint, inviting and an amazing value. You won't be disappointed!
