We just wanted a little get away...front desk got us into our room a little early, which we so appreciated. Even though we spent most of our stay outside on the balcony enjoying the wonderful view, the room was very clean and comfortable. We left to go to our favorite breakfast joint after checkout and noticed that the restaurant was serving breakfast. Went back and relaxed with a yummy omelet and even yummier Bloody Mary! Highly recommend the Spyglass Inn!

Stayed here for my husband's birthday weekend. Our room had a great oceanview, a comfortable bed and a fireplace. Even though we were told check-in was at 4:00pm, we arrived at 2:00 and were allowed into our room. Good "Happy Hour" in the restaurant that night. The next morning we had the breakfast special which was delicious. Another plus-dog friendly. So our dog "Boris" was allowed to join us. This place is also close enough to have lunch in Morro
Bay and check out the butterflies at Monarch Butterfly grove.

Just stayed here for Christmas. Room had great view. Sat on the chair on the balcony and it broke, I am not fat btw. Bathroom was depressing small and very 70s. I booked online and was told check in was 3 pm, we arrived at 3 and room was not ready and we were told check in was 4. Had breakfast in the restaurant, it's hard to get oatmeal wrong, but they did. And they didnt have soya milk. The waitress seemed genuinely unhappy to be there. I would not recommend Spyglass. Management have obviously decided that because they have a great location, they can not bother with any other standards. POOR.

We had a family reunion and booked several rooms with the spyglass Inn. The service was excellent, the rooms were beautiful. We all enjoyed our rooms. Great little get away!
