I have stayed at this motel 6 about 8 different times from 1-3 nights at a time. We like it because we have always had a clean room and it's in a great location. You are really only at the motel to sleep and get ready for your day so don't waste your money on expensive ocean view rooms! Don't get me wrong we've had a spa suite at a nice hotel for special occasions but for our just because trips this is the place!

*note: we have only ever had one issue here. We were unable to get hot water and the manager had no problem refunding half of our money!

I stayed 3 nights recently and found this place to be quite acceptable. Unlike some other Motel 6 rooms, these had decent towels, acceptable blankets which did not look like they were leftovers from some war, and there was soap in the bathroom. The shower was new and quite nice. They take dogs. The downtown and beach is only a short drive away. Breakfast place down the road is better than Denny's and there is a mall a block away. Laundry room available. Internet for $2.99 per day. TV is outdated and not many channels. I'ts a good deal for the price.

The general manager and all of the staff ( too many to name ) and I was only at the hotel a few days and got to know them all even the maintenance man was friendly! everyone was VERY nice and friendly, Check in at the front desk was staff was better then most then 4 or 5 star hotels fast and the service was as good as it gets. The hotel is Very Clean and VERY SAFE!!! as I have kids.. I enjoyed my stay and will return again when we visit grandma!! Motel 6 in Pismo Beach is my "New" choice when I come to visit family. we don't like staying with Mom so if you want a place to stay and have Kids and pets ( i have a dog) this is the place to stay! Thank you again Motel 6 Pismo Beach!!! Will see you soon. In Closing I am a "clean freak" and the room was above my standards way to go housekeeping. Free coffee and the wireless was good. and yes I did stay at Motel 6 Pismo Beach!

I am a hotel General Manager and have worked for Ramada & Hampton, I am out of work lost our house and checked in to Motel 6. At first my wife OK motel 6? but we both came to find that "This is a nice Place" Tim the General Manager has a great staff and everyone has been so nice. Valerie, Beatrize, and Jeff to name a few, as well as the Housekeeping department The only thing missing would be Microwaves and refrigerators but other then that great service and clean room's. If you don't believe me then check it for yourselves!
