My fiancee and I stayed here just last weekend for two nights and I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the hotel, it looked nice and clean from the outside, no trash or scummy looking people around. It's located pretty much right on the beach with all that separates being a tiny side street and a flight of stairs. We paid $160 a night which was pretty good because last weekend was Pismo's annual Clam Fest and every hotel near the beach was booked or over $200 a night. We were lucky enough to get a king north coastal view room which gave us a beautiful view of some of the cliffs and a perfect sunset view from the comfort of the little dining table next to the window. The room was nothing extravagant but it was clean, updated, and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to come back to my crappy mattress. Although they allow pets, the room didn't smell like any animal had ever been in there. There was a window in the bathroom and plenty of room on the vanity. A full length mirror in between the vanity and armoire was a perfect spot for me to get ready. There was a 32" inch flat screeen TV directly across from the bed, a desk, 2 nightstands, a chair, and a small dining table with 2 chairs. Blow dryer, microwave, little fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The staff was friendly and helpful and check-in and out was a breeze. Best of all, the hotel was walking distance to the main drag and it was pretty much right on the beach. I thought the hotel was nice, properly advertised, and totally worth the price.
