As most of the reviews point out, the hotel did get some TLC recently and it looks well. We only had a concern that every little noise was heard from all the neighbors, doors slamming, people talking, showers running. Everything else was good, the place is well kept and it is very close to the beach and restaurants and also very convenient distance to the other beach towns like Paso Robles, Avila beach, Arroyo Grande and San Luis Obispo.

We chose this hotel primarily for the price and what a mistake it was. The office staff is rude and obnoxious. The person that checked us in was extremely rude. The office staff acted like we were doing them a favor staying there. The office had a strong unpleasant odor that seemed to work well for the person that checked us in. The room wasn't as clean as I expected and called the front desk to ask to have housekeeping come in and service the room. The housekeeping person was friendly and did a good job cleaning the room. The bed was uncomfortable and the linens were well used.
We definately won't be staying here again. I would cancel our trip first.

My wife and I went to Pismo for 1 night and we were looking for a basic room near the pier. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room for the price we paid. The room appeared to be recently remodeled and it was very clean. There was a flat screen tv and the tempurpedic mattress was very welcome after a long day of walking. If you're looking for a nice, budget friendly hotel that is close to the pier, I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Refreshing old fashioned value can actually still be found, we were so fortunate to find the Beachwalker inn, it really made all the difference in our stay in Pismo.
The room is clean and inviting, new spacious fridge, microwave. superb shower with body sprays, our unit had a whirlpool tub as well that my wife loved. The bed is of superior comfort. Overall well planned and tastefully appointed. The service staff was kind and thoughtful to our needs, we felt truly welcome.
