It is conveniently located very close to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants. We stayed for three nights as a base for going to theme parks. One night would have been ok. A couple of things we did not like: the quality of the towels is the poorest I have seen - even for a motel. The b'fast is best skipped. The coffee is tasteless. We ended up going out for b'fast all three mornings. The strong smell of curry in the b'fast room/check-in is a real turnoff. By the second days we could also smell it in our room. We would not stay again.

We stayed in Days Inn Pinole in middle August for a week while visiting Berkeley and SF. A good place to stay for the money. Of course, this is not a fancy 5 star hotel that charges you hundreds of dollar a night. But the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and staff was helpful , indeed, they were very helpful!

Before booking the room, I read all the reviews and was somewhat worried about security in the neighborhood. But that was unnecessary. We did not see any suspicious activities or person. In fact, we felt very safe.

The hotel is right by the Highway, make in and out easy. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby. If you like shopping, this is a good place to stay. It seems everywhere you turn, there is a shopping mall.

If anything, the coffee provided was rather very weak. I am not a coffee drinker. So it did not bother me. And again, this is not Starbucks neither.

A great place for the price conscious consumers.

There are bed bugs. We got bitten all over our bodies. Also, the floor and towels were filthy. I highly recommend looking for another hotel.

I was passing through the town and was originally sleeping in my vehicle when I decided to stay a night. It has everything you'd expect and need. It's located by quite a few shopping centers, grocery stores and gas stations.

The cons would be the drug activity/traffic and the resulting commotion from first responders. Be sure to keep locked anything that uses locks. This place gets a lot of weirdos literally popping out of bushes and shadows at wee hours of the night.
