We stayed 4 nights at this hotel and really appreciated it. The building is nice, our room was large and clean. The hotel is not close to the beach, but seriously, it doesn't take long (20-30 minutes) to get to the touristic places...and at least it's really good value for money!! The only thing that wasn't that good was the breakfast : 2 mornings were ok (doughnouts!!) but the 2 others, there was barelly anything to eat (cereals).
Anyway, I totally recommend this hotel if you wanna stay in LA in a confortable place without spending too much money :-)

This hotel didn't have a sign on its building just a hanging banner which we found unprofessional. The area is nice and you can access grocery stores, k-mart etc. however we found it out of the way from a night out in downtown LA or from the beaches, pasadena. It was a nice drive but not fast. The breakfast was awful... I didn't know it was possible to water-down coffee that bad! There were zero choices available... usually a couple donuts laying in a box or a pre-packaged danish. Some Cheerios were available as well... but that was it! The staff seemed disinterested in their job and lacked professionalism. Basically the room and place looked good, but terrible food and sub-par service.

The suite was three rooms with two tv's and the price was only $59/night. Things were an a pretty worn and there was a big stain in the carpet. The staff was friendly and access to freeway was easy. Neighbor hood was quite and felt safe. If your expectations aren't high this was a bargain.

The room was good. Spacious and well cleaned every day. What possibly could be added is a coffee machine. According to the hotel description includes continental breakfast. But I don't know if I would like to call it breakfast. First morning we found only cornflakes, no milk, no bowls. We had to ask for it. There were no bread, only laminated Donuts, which we got after asking for it. The coffee is the worst I've ever had. If they can't make coffee, hot water and Nescafe would have been better. Juice was only one choice of.
The pool is small, but we used it several of times. It's nice and clean.
The staff seems not like to be there, no interest in their guest. We felt like we were disturbing them.
If you don't need any breakfast, the rooms are fine and the area is quiet. The Wi-Fi is only possible in the receptionen, and by cable in the room. It works ok, but I don't call it High-Speed.
We staid here in 17 days.
