“A definite "Bucket List" Resort!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Recently my husband and I stayed at The Lodge at Pebble Beach. Our room was fantastic, large, with a private patio, adjoining rooms, and each with it's own wood burning fireplace that we used every night we were there. My husband golf all 3 of the Pebble Beach courses while I enjoyed the spa service, 17 mile drive, horseback riding, and shopping in Monterrey and Carmel. I enjoyed breakfast each morning at Stillwater Bar and Grill which had amazing ocean views and we met each evening at The Tap Room for cocktails before heading out to dinner.
Do not know if we will ever make it back, but it was a definite "Bucket List" check for all in our party!

“Golfer's Dream”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

This place exudes history and the golf courses certainly live up to the hype in my opinion. The rooms are large and have a working fireplace, which is awesome, because the nights get slightly chilly. I was a little surprised by the faucets in the rooms being brass/gold plated, as that look seems a little dated to me. However, nothing like golfing on Pebble Beach during the day and having a nice scotch by the fire in your room at night. The restaurants are good as well. I eat at The Tap Room one night and the steak and mushroom risotto were nicely done. Pair that with a nice bottle of wine to top it off. I also had breakfast at the Gallery Cafe above the putting green. They will make anything for you, even off the menu items. The staff is nice and accomodating and will cater to any need you have while at the property.

Room Tip: If you get the scenic view, you will only have a view of the ocean from over roofs of the lower room...

“Amazing Hotel and Service”

We stayed here for 3 nights in Spetember 2009. What an amazing place! From our welcome, to our meals, golf and spa, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our lodge was amazing, clean and spacious...not to mention the amazing view over the 18th hole. My husband played golf and the course was amazing...the views too were fantastic. I had a spa treatment and it was the best treatment that I have ever had. The therapists really know what they are doing and made the experience unforgettable.
We ate at Spanish Bay and the views were spectacular.
We recommend the 17mile drive too.
A great hotel and we hope to return soon.

“Beautiful but pricey”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Outstanding room with great view of bay and 1st tee. Full sofa and wood burning fireplace ready to light every evening. Large bathroom with extra sink in dressing area. Great balcony though we didn't use it. We paid for "garden room" and had "free" upgrade but still very expensive. You need to stay 2 nights to get a tee time for Pebble Beach

“#1 on my Bucket List-Pebble Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We finally did it, made the reservation, stayed in a room, a chip away from the 18th hole, and loved every minute of the experience! It was costly, but well worth the expense! We stayed at the lodge for 3 days, and played golf at Pebble Beach and Spyglass. It was a dream come true! Blue skies, warm temps, and we played great golf! We took too many pictures, but they all remind us of our days spent at the most beautiful golf course in the world! The people at Pebble Beach were incredible, the food was good, the room was beautiful, and the view from the outside porch, was of the 18th green, and the famous trees that surround it! We ran around in our pajama's early in the morning, all up and down the 18th hole! We watched the dogs do their jobs of clearing the course of the geese (and what they leave behind)! Which was way fun to watch, at 6 am, by the way!
We saw the sunrise every morning standing on the 18th green in our pajama's! How cool is that! The only thing I would have changed is playing Spanish Bay instead of Spyglass! Spyglass was pretty, but not incredible! Make sure you go to Spanish Bay at dusk, to hear the bagpipper walk the last few holes, and feel the tingle on your skin as his pipes are the only sound you hear! and the drinks aren't bad, either! We ate dinner at the Hawaiian specialty restaurant that is at Spanish Bay, and it was fantastic! We only spent one afternoon shopping, and it was fabulous on Cannery Row. Check out the Pebble Beach outlet store, for great pricing on logo'd golf apparel.

Room Tip: get a room, with a view of the 18th hole. The large tree at the front of the green, is lit at night...
