“AWESOME!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Stayed here on a golf outing -- a tremendous small hotel. Sits just across street from Peeble Beach Lodge so you can visit/eat there, but this is really the place to stay at PB. Great rooms, outstanding breakfast delivered to you door in a big basket each morning, excellent spa connected to the building. More expensive than the Lodge -- but worth it.

Room Tip: Some rooms have private hot tubs.

“I'll be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

I have been coming to Pebble Beach since the mid 90's but did not discover Casa Palmero until much later. My wife and I are avid travellers and have stayed in the best hotels in the world. I can honestly tell you that if anyone finds Casa Palmero inferior to any of the best hotels of the world then they are not to be taken seriously.
What I like most about Casa is that the staff have remained consistent over the years. They truly make you feel like you are at home and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. While you may not be facing Stillwater Bay which is a treat you should experience at least once, you are in a place that is truly relaxing. Everyone knows your name and makes you feel welcome. Cheryl; the manager, is one of the kindest people I know.
The rooms are luxurious and spacious and well appointed. The happy hour is very relaxing and you tend to meet very interesting people. If I had the smallest of complaints is that I have noticed a slight cutback in the quality of hors d'oeuvre in recent years. I know that the property has had tougher economic times the past couple of years.
The proximity to the Spa makes it very easy to have a daily steam or just relax by the fire. The treatments are wonderful and a great way to relax after a round of golf. For those guests who do not golf make sure to enjoy what the peninsula has to offer. Take a drive to Point Lobos or go a little further to Rocky Point for a nice cold beer while you watch the world go by. A day in Carmel is fun is you are a shopper or just walk along Carmel Beach.
DIning is wonderful, whether it is the Prime Rib Chili in the Pub or a great Italian dinner at Peppoli's, Pebble has so much to offer. Want a great steak, don't miss the Whaling Station.
I was just at Pebble for the first time in December and was amazed how great the weather was. It was a shame that Casa was closed for Dec and Jan. As I arrived in my room overlooking 18, I had a complimentary Cheese Tray and bottle of Red wine. NIce Touch as usual, thanks Cheryl, you are the best.
I will be back....

“Pampered luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2011

On the Pebble Beach property, easy walk to the famous Lodge. Casa is the most luxurious of the 3 options at Pebble. Rooms are quite large and beautifully appointed. They have woodburning fireplaces with it all ready for you to light by stiking a match. No views, but lovely private patios with hot tubs. Small and intimate with very friendly staff. I was very impressed when I called several days prior to my arrival with a question, and when I gave my last name without even spelling it they knew immediately who I was and when I was arriving...seemingly without having even looked me up. I felt like a celebrity that they were anxiously awaiting. That level of service continued throughout my visit. They have an agreement with Lexus where you can borrow a car complimentary for several hours. Or Hertz will drop off and pick up rental cars for Gold members. The golf is legendary and their spa is world class. Be sure and visit Carmel which is a 10 minute drive.

“As if Pebble Beach isn't nice enough.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

The Casa was so wonderful and relaxing to stay at. The staff was on top of every detail. There is no view at the Casa. It is private and nestled between the first tee and the lodge. Happy hour is a great tough to a fun day of golf.

We stay at the Inn at Spanish Bay usually. This time we stayed there for two days. Such a beautiful setting. But the Casa is perfectly located. Walk everywhere. Service is tops. I can't wait to go back. This time I'm playing more golf.

Room Tip: First floor rooms have the whirlpool.

“Amazing service in aa beautiful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Palmero immensely. It was a hotel that could combine romance, privacy, beauty, spa relaxation and top or the line golf all one.
The hotel staff served our every need with unobtrusive efficiency.
Our room was lovely with a private patio and spa pool. Very large bathroom and luxurious linens and toiletries.
The evening complimentary bar and appetizers were elegant and delicious. My husband enjoyed the golf while I spent a nice afternoon at the spa. If you decide to use the spa, it is terrific, but I would not waste time on a manicure or pedicure...they were average..the facial on the other hand was wonderful.
The scenery at the Pebble beach lodge, just a short walk down the lane, made our experience even better. I would recommend having drinks outside of Rays Restaurant at the Inn at Spanish at around 5 or 5:30 as a bag pipe player walks up from the ocean and golf course...it is breathtaking...one of those magical moments. Casa Palmero is a perfect place to stay for couples at Pebble Beach who want an elegant and romantic vacation while still enjoying the Golf and scenery of the Pacific coast.
