“Magnificent!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

The Canyon Villa B&B is serenely located in the midst of the vineyards with very stunning views. The rooms are very well appointed … the entire place is beautiful exuding a warmth and hospitality that is only topped by our gracious hosts, Diane and Jim, who made our stay truly memorable. Diane’s breakfasts are incredibly delicious – and well known, we found, throughout the area ☺ The wine tastings and hors d’oeuvres in the afternoons offered a nice way to kick back over a casual chat, while getting tasting tips from our hosts and fellow guests. We will be back for sure!

“First-rate experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We stayed at Canyon Villa for 3 nights in December and can't wait to go back. The villa is absolutely gorgeous, and Diane and Jim were warm and friendly, making our trip perfect in every way. We loved the wineries (Peter Sellers and Tablas Creek were our favorites) and the burger at Thomas Hill Organics. And, nothing could be better than coming home from wine-tasting and getting into the jetted tub with a different scented oil to add each day. We also enjoyed hearing 2 owls hooting back and forth in the middle of the night! We were lucky to have gorgeous weather and sunsets and the stars in the sky were absolutely brilliant. We loved how isolated the villa felt even though it was close to town. As for the amazing breakfasts...wow...I don't have words. Just delicious and actually pretty healthy! I still worked out everyday at the Kennedy Club, a great healthclub a mile or so away. Made every bite of breakfast even more worthwhile. We are looking forward to going back this year!

“We were not disappointed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

We stayed at Canyon Villa a few years ago and had looked forward to returning ever since. We were not disappointed! As others have said, the setting is right out of the Chianti Classico countryside. Our second floor room faced to the west, providing a stunning panorama and beautiful sunsets. The villa is very well appointed, and Diane and Jim are superb hosts. From preparing delicious breakfasts to helping with winery visits, they can't be beat. We will be back!

“Wonderful Weekend Away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

My wife and I have a toddler and haven't had a chance to get away for over two years. I spent a lot of time researching Paso Robles B&Bs and other places to stay, and I couldn't be happier that we went with The Canyon Villa. From the first impression (beautiful hilltop setting with views for miles) to the immaculate lounge and dining room areas to the gorgeous bedroom and really comfortable bed. Diane and Jim seem to take pride in being wonderful hosts, and they (ok, Diane) can cook up an amazing breakfast!

I could go on, but if you're looking for a romantic, peaceful setting and an all around amazing place to stay, this is it. Oh, and the convenient location is a bonus.

“Exceptional beauty, comfort and serenity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We have been coming to Paso Robles at least annually for many years staying at Villa Toscana, which recently ceased operation. On this trip, we stayed three nights at the beautiful inn created by Diane and Jim who are gracious and attentive hosts. The experience was like being transported to a refined and secluded Italian villa on a hill top with beautiful views of hills, vineyards and sunsets. Our room (Cortona) was very comfortable, and Diane is an accomplished cook serving delicious and varied breakfasts. Also, unlike other inns in the area of a comparable level, this inn is an easy 5 - 10 minute drive from downtown Paso Robles with its many restaurants and places of interest. We look forward to our next visit.
