My best friend and I have been visiting The Canyon Villa every year for several years now - we wouldn't miss our annual trip back to heaven-on-earth - a bit of "Italy in Paso". Jim and Diane are like our extended family - they are the most exceptional hosts and their standard of service is beyond your highest possible expectations. Plus Diane is a true gourmet cook! The room is top notch with a fantastic view. The location is extraordinarily beautiful and centrally located - close to downtown for restaurants and close to the wineries on the west side. And they will give you the BEST recomendations for dining and wine tasting - we simply let them tell us where we should eat and we are always rewarded with an exceptional dining experience. This is one place you simply cannot miss!

We came to Canyon Villa after reading the wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint, and in fact exceeded our expectations. Diane and Jim were so incredibly hospitable and knowledgeable about the area's vineyards and restaurants. Every last detail was thought of and did not go unnoticed by my husband and I. The room was beautiful and had fine linens. The views were spectacular from every direction. The breakfasts were delicious and we will definitely be back . We would recommend The Canyon Villa to our friends for sure.

Diane and Jim are wonderful hosts. They make you feel so very welcome. The site of the B&B is lovely and their home and rooms are beautifully designed. The residence sits on a hill facing west so the sunsets are spectacular. Diane provides local wines and late afternoon snacks. They joined our friends (we were late due to traffic) and educated them on the smaller more intimate wine tasting rooms. They obviously love introducing their guests to their friends and winemakers. We ventured off the beaten path and were not disappointed. We have been traveling to Paso Robles for years and this was definitely our best trip ever. WARNING: Diane is an unbelievable chef so the breakfasts are absolutely incredible. . .so creative and delicious. That said, you will need to diet either before or after your visit! We can't wait to return and are already planning a rendevous with friends there next summer.

First of all, the place is absolutely gorgeous. This "Italian" villa sits atop a picturesque hill with a beautiful view of the surrounding vineyards. The grounds are immaculate and the furnishings exude an elegance that speak to the romance of being in wine country. The rooms are stunning and the bathrooms are very well appointed (wonderful jacuzzi tub)!

The location is perfect. It is close enough to downtown (2.5 miles) to make the drive home from dinner seemless, but it is also remote enough to feel like you are escaping the burdens of the city into quite the romantic hideaway. Also, being in the Westside of Paso, you are right in the heart of ridiculously great wineries.

The owners, Diane and Jim, were just amazing. Diane made absolutely wonderful breakfasts that fueled us for long days of wine tastings. Also, they definitely have the right balance of offering suggestions without being obtrusive. They were so very knowledgable about the area and they gave us some great suggestions for wineries we hadn't previously considered. We felt so welcome and their hospitality was unparalleled.

This is the perfect place for a special occasion, a romantic weekend getaway, or even a mid-week escape to wine country. Seriously...stop looking...this is THE place!!!
