This hotel does a fine job of maintaining the standard features you would expect to find in a HI Express. If you arrive in the day/evening, Otis Spunkmeyer cookies great you at the door and if you arrive a little bit late, some fresh fruit is in its place. The hotel staff is friendly and effecient. The rooms are well maintained and have all the amenities that you would expect including the fancy shower head that HI Expresses have. The rooms all have flat screen LCD TV's that get several channels of HBO including HBO sports. The exercise room is small, but very nice to include a full rack of dumbells. The pool and spa are well kept and very inviting. The exercise room is always stocked with cool washclothes in a refrig, plenty of clean towels, sanitizing solution and fresh bananas for your after work out snack. The local area has a lot of great local restaurants within walking distance. Access to Highway 101 North and South is super convenient too. The internet at this hotel is great. Even during peak times I measured the download speed via DSLreports.com at better than 2 MB/sec. The only downside and this is ever so slight is that there is a train track in close proximity to the hotel and where you cant hear the train going by, sometimes you can feel a slight rumble. It took me a couple of times to figure out what it was. Overall this is a very nice property, especially for government travellers. They will not raise the rates on you if your plans keep you over the weekend unlike other hotels in the area that will raise the rates on you. I would highly recommend this hotel for any traveller... great experience.
