Conveniently located off the 110 freeway, 10-15 minutes away from the heart of Los Angeles. Dated exterior from the 70s is pretty interesting while it's surrounded by more current architecture as well as the more historic buildings of Pasadena.

Convention Center hotel, located behind; Paseo Colorado, an open air mall that houses restaurants, bars and cafes; so you'll never be short of a good cup of coffee and buying basics like water from Gelson's market.

Pedestrian friendly, so exercising your dog is extremely easy and convenient.

There is no deposit/fee for pets up to 40 lbs, so that's great news if you're traveling with your dog. We had a patio room which provided a small area for the dogs to run around, however it's a shared patio with other rooms on the 1st floor. So, if you unleash your dog and another guest has their sliding glass door open to the patio, your dog may end up in another hotel room.

Average Sheraton, a little tired in some areas. Reasonable place to say, rooms reasonably clean and in good condition. I travel for business so I need a good bed. But I'm not sure you'd want to stay here on a vacation. I'd return.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and was very happy with my stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel - I don't have any complaints about this hotel. The bed was VERY comfortable and the hotel itself was very quiet for a peaceful night sleep! The staff was friendly and the underground parking was convenient.
The location of this hotel is within walking distance to some good restaurants in Old Town Pasadena and Paseo Colorado. The hotel has a small bar (which serves food) and an actual restaurant.

Went here on a short stay in Pasadena. This is a nice hotel. The staff are very friendly, which makes such a difference. It has a small restaurant (and I only ate breakfast here which was buffet style, but again great staff!), a small bar, very small outside pool (never used this as it was December - however if it was warm, not sure I'd like being out here - pool is nothing special. More like a big bath!

The thing about this hotel is it's in a great location, just two blocks from the main high street and right next to the convention centre. When I stayed American Idol was being filmed in the convention centre, so there were lots of young people around singing in corridors and toilets! Very entertaining. However, once in the room, there was little noise. One block away is a great supermarket "Gelsons" which has a small restaurant where you can get bagels and coffee. Also in that shopping complex is a PF Changs, Cinema, Yard House, and other restaurants and shops.

One final point - this hotel has fabulous beds! Oh the best beds, so soft and comfortable. Amazing night's sleep....

If you're staying in Pasadena (and why wouldn't you want to!) stay here. It's a great hotel, good standard, fab beds, oh and amazing staff!
