I had a large, quiet room with good beds, TV, Wi -FI, etc. Room was clean with no smells, breakfast typical of chain motels, and it is close driving distance to the university. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Adequate for most short stays. The shower was a major problem, seemed like with the underwhelming volume of water enough time was required with the shower running to equal a normal short shower with a normal water pressure . . .
The breakfast was adequate too if one appeared before parts were used up; there was no replenishing of any item that ran out.
Beds comfortable, staff very polite and accomodating. As usual, no cleaning what wasn't readily visible (used condoms behind the bedside stand).

We stayed at this Inn while we were visiting family in Palo Alto. The rooms were ok, but ours had a terrible smell and we ended up requesting to be moved. The breakfast was average and the blueberry waffles were terrible. Overall, I would only stay here as a last resort. We are trying another hotel for our next trip even though it is not as close as we would like.

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here during my son's visit to Stanford Hospital. The price was very reasonable, our room was huge, the breakfast was good, the beds comfortable. Best of all, unlike most Palo Alto hotels, it was set back from busy El Camino, so the room was quiet. I could take walks in the lovely neighborhood right by the hotel. The front desk manager was excellent--efficient, courteous, with a fine attention to detail. It was an easy ten-minute drive to Stanford Hospital and Stanford Shopping Center.
