I stayed here to try to cut costs for my clients. The positives: Staff at front desk is very accommodating and friendly. They follow through on requests. The bathroom in my room was recently updated for faucets and shower fixtures and they work well - good water pressure. The bathroom was very clean and bright. The room is generally clean, although the rug needs a good shampooing. Free internet, refrigerator and microwaves in rooms. They provide some packaged pastries and juice boxes in the fridge when you check in. No bugs. Secure doors. Very close to the Hunan Garden restaurant (Great food) and other restaurants in the area are easy to walk to.
Negatives: Threadbare towels and washcloths the size of a postage stamp. Rusty metal Kleenex box in bathroom. Dirty rug - shampoo or replace it PLEASE. Quirky Decor is a matter of taste, but catches a lot of dust with all the crocheted doilies and faux flowers over the bed. Bed a bit lumpy and "crunchy," as they have the mattress protected. Sheets were clean but I was very skeptical of the bedspread, shams and accessory pillows, which you know are not cleaned between guests.
