It seems to be an older hotel that they've really worked on. I was worried having a street & freeway facing room, but it was quiet enough on a Saturday night and we slept well without interruption. The beds were very comfortable. The room looked to have all new furniture and a redone bathroom. The tub needed some work, but the showerhead was awesome. We needed extra towels & they brought them without hesitation. They provided complimentary slippers in the rooms. The free breakfast was a feast and very tasty. We didn't go in the pool, but it looked nice, clean, with plenty of room around it to relax.
If you're going for soccer, it's just off the freeway, so you can jump on & off to get to the fields. Also, they have a laundry room. There's a grocery store close by, and you're away from the craziness & traffic of all the restaurants.
Negatives: the rooms are pretty small, elevator was slow and opened on all floors almost every time (we were on the 4th floor, so that was annoying), one lady at the front desk was super rude (all others were super nice & made up for her), the closed Denny's in front of the hotel made the 1st impression terrible and worrisome.
