Love It at Casitas - been there 5 times now and usually go around April each year. This year went there April and November. (twice in 1 year must tell you something) Love the back rooms (Unit 27, 28, 29) - more private/quiet and tropical plants/waterfall to look out from our own little patio area. The pool is fabulous - warm and clean. All units surround it and have there own kitchens with full fridges. People can come out to relax around the pool, meet others or just read a book quietly under the 30 plus palm trees around the gardens. Doesn't look much from the outside, but as soon as you get through the secured main entranceway - wow, you know you are home. Soft music playing around the complex, gentle breezes and amazing views of the mountains around you. The owners are so inviting and do anything to make your trip enjoyable. Huge beach towels, comfy loungers, umbrellas, pool floaties, BBQ, you name it, it is there. All the units are unique and offer something different. Look at all the pics on their website to see the decor or location - we like #27 the most. 1 Bdrm/Studio are great - you can share or just chill on your own. Privacy is always respected by everyone and if you like to socialize, many people make friends and explore the hiking trails, street festival and many restaurants and events. Always make friends each visit - really, you won't be disappointed. Often meet up with friends from San Diego, Vegas and LA there...close to everything. Ample parking for free, the freshly baked loafs they put in your room every day is wonderful with morning coffee. The first time we went there, Doreen -the amazing Ms Hospitality of the resort, brought us all ice cream bars around the pool. How sweet is that!!! Check it out....glad we did!
