After a long car trip across the Mojave desert we were greeted by a glass of wine and a friendly chat well before we had checked in. This is a very stylish and intimate hotel with retro furnished rooms grouped around a pool and spa. The hotel also offers so much - big beds, bikes for day time touring, a DVD collection of recent movies for your own use, pool side coffee and music, night time candles and a gas BBQ, together with an enormous range of meat marinades for your own use. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a truly relaxing stay. We compliment Patty, Judy, Jerry and Casey on a wonderful establishment.

Absolutely lovely! This hotel is really something out of the ordinary. Stayed there for two nights and the only thing we regret are that we didn't stayed there longer. The hotel with all its pleasant features is excellent, but what really makes this a special place are the people. And with the people I refer to both the owners, the people who work there and the guests. We were lucky to attend the Super Bowl party and had such a great time. We have stayed at many places during our trips and this is definitely a place we plan to go back to! 

This is the place to stay if you don't want to feel like a "number" in some big corporate hotel.

The owners actually work on-site at times. The staff (& owners) is extremely nice, helpful, knowledgeable and accommadating. Clean, comfortable room. Good bed. Free movie dvd's. Book exchange. Really nice, heated pool with good chairs & lounges. Nice whirlpool hot tub & gas "firepit". Gas-grill that can be used. Easy parking.

My only gripe would be that while enjoying the pool mid-day the landscapers came Monday with their noisy, polluting blowers, mowers and trimmers (the place was already immaculate). Then they came back Thursday while we were at the pool again! I couldn't see any reason why they were back so soon.
