I stayed here three nights and was disappointed by the property. One could see that the room was going downhill. It was showing definite signs of aging and disrepair. The cleaning was also poor with cobwebs in the corners of the room by the ceiling. Also, the bathroom floor and shower were poorly maintained and not cleaned properly. While the previous owners had spent money on the upgrades and furnishings, the current owners are letting the property run downhill. The resort, by the way, is not cruisy and while clothing optional, virtually all of the guys wore swimwear. If looking for luxury,more quality, or cruising, definitely cross this hotel off your list. I would never return. Hotel staff was only mildly welcoming.

This is a nice place to stay. It is clean and well presented. The rooms can be small; try to stay in room one to five. They seem to be bigger. They are nicely decorated. The bathrooms and shower are tiny, but clean. The aircon makes alot of noise as does the fridge in your room, so bring earplugs. The beds are typical hotel quality and seem to be clean. Staff are great and breakfast is adequate. The place attracts a nice group of people. While we were there there were women and a guy and his girlfriend. Some guys had their dogs and this gave the place a very friendly and intimate feel. Parking is great and the place feels very safe and secure.

I stayed at Las Palmas in July of 2007 for one night only. The property has many positive attributes, and a few negative ones that need attention. The grounds were very nice. The pool and hot tub areas were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. The room was okay, basically decorated and a little on the dreary side. The very small bathroom was in need of a thorough gutting and modernizing. The shower stall and the bathroom floors were not the cleanest. I can understand the age of the bathroom, but the lack of cleanliness is inexcuseble. With the exception of the room, the rest of the property was nice. Overall, with a little TLC, Las Palmas has potential.

I had a great stay at this gay hotel. Everyone was very nice, the room was very clean and the rates were very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The good looking guy who cleaned my room drew me a map to the bars to the south end and showed me the quick route. I learned to get around Palm Springs based on his map. thanks Ron. Great place, I will stay there again
