Luckily, we only had to stay one night. The parking lot (if you can call it that) was dimly-lit and scary. The bathroom was disgustingly filthy...there were still cigarette ashes in the tub from the last visitor. The hole in the wall into which the air-conditioner was propped was enough larger than the air-conditioner that we could clearly see through to the outside. All in all, we wish we would have paid a few more dollars and gone to a respectable hotel.

This place said I didnt ask for smokeing when my reservations said I did . There were stains on the box springs, there wasn't a clock, the refrigerator wasn't on . It was dirty looking. No remote control for the TV. Was not a gated faciltiy like the advertisement said.

Excellent Place to stay if your are visiting Palm Springs. Me and my husband stayed for 4 days and the room was great and the price was affortable. Very clean, quite, relaxing & friendly eniviroment. The best part was peacefull good night sleep. I would recomend it to anyone and definatly something to look into if your a visiting Palm Springs.

Upon my arrival the only thing...and I mean the only thing that was pleasant was the sign out in front. The three star hotel as stated on the 'hotels' website was not what I was viewing. I thought I was in a third world country and expecting gun fire to erupt at any minute! The room was small, dark and dinge. The manager's dog was running around and the parking had no lighting. The pool or the frog pond had a lovely film of algae...anyone for a dip! Fortunately for me the staff at the Palm Court Inn (1 / 760 / 416-2333) was very accommodating and found me a large room at a lower rate! Unfortunately I still had to pay 'The Other Bates Motel' for one night...live and learn.
