We stayed at this resort because we saw a promotional rate through Travel Zoo....I was a sceptic, but was proven wrong when we arrived. The grounds are magnificent and I loved the privacy that we got with our personal villa. The views from our balconey were to die for and the water was always warm in the pools. This is a must see and is well worth the money! I can't wait to go back.

Left Palm Springs this past weekend after a 3 night stay at La Mancha.

On the plus side the villas are only a few blocks from East Canyon Drive where all of Palm Springs bars and restaurants seem to be and just 2 blocks from a large, swanky casino!

The pool and hot tub got plenty of use, though the pool is shallow and quite small.

The villa itself was clean, but the decoration and fixtures and fittings were all very dated. The cooker we noticed was 23 years old - but in fairness worked well! There's a daily maid service with fresh towels daily and a newspaper each morning.

La Mancha was a good base for a short stay but should not be described by anybody's standards as luxurious and for that reason I think it was pretty overpriced. Private yes, conveniently located yes, clean yes.

The review here seem to suggest that La Mancha is either a hit or a miss - no middle ground. On that basis, for me, La Mancha has to go down as a miss.

We had THE BEST ROMANTIC GETAWAY EVER!!!!!!! What a treat, perfect accomadations,our own pool,we had TWO "hot tubs/spas". We were overwhelmed by the amount of space we had. Just AWESOME. Would love to go back,,,,,,,,,,,but the prices seem to go through the roof.
