This is the second time we have stayed here. My daughter has a cheer competition every year at the convention center and this is very convenient! We love having a kitchen so we always save money by making food in our suite! We will stay here next year. I actually have just booked the ESA in Anaheim, Ca for two dates (one in Feb, and one in April) for a couple more cheer competitions. We love Extended Stays!

Being used to tasty French foods, I know that I will not find anything I like in Palm Springs and that is the reason for my stay at Extended Stay. I can cook in my place and eat delicious food while watching the mountains changing colors during the day. Palm Springs becomes the paradise that it should be. The location of the hotel near down town, its helpful staff make it even more enjoyable.

Extended Stay in Palm Springs (near airport) is not geared for solo business travelers. It's a rundown road trip last resort hotel. The lobby looks inviting and the staff is kind, but the rooms need TLC - especially the beds.
The sprinklers on the 3rd floor had gone off and ruined a few rooms (not hotel's fault, probably a rowdy guest had set off the sprinklers) and the cleanup was noisy. The Extended Stay assistant manager was kind enough to offer a refund from Priceline.com. I had paid for my nights in advance on Priceline.com and usually they don't offer refunds so it was a nice touch that Extended Stay's management allowed this.

We arrived on a Thursday, to a driveway filled with police cars and an ambulance. What's going on here and will be safe? No comment by the Extended Stay Staff. Sure we worried. The poolside restrooms had no toilet paper, seat covers, or paper towels. It was brought to their attention but no paper goods were replaced in the four day stay. We had to change rooms and some of the issues were cigarette burns on tables and linens, dog treats under the bed, and the refrigerator fell off the first time that it was opened. The final straw was that on two separate days, the housekeeping staff banged on the door and tried to enter the room (7-8AM) and mistakenly thought that we had checked out. To their credit the manager did offer us coupon for a free night!
