This is a nice place. But the 4:00 check in time is unreasonable, when added to the 11:00AM check out. Plus if you go over the 11:00 AM check out you are charged 25:00 per 1/2 hour after that.Also, lose a towel? $25.00. Seems to me a little overboard on the rules, which is a detriment to staying here again.

My wife and I are new VI owners and chose to go to Palm Springs for our first trip. If the Oasis is any indication, we feel that we have made a good investment. We got to the resort an hour and a half early and had no trouble getting checked in. Our 2bd with den was clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. The only things I can find to complain about, and this is nit picking, is that the couch was a little on the uncomfortable side and the internet connection was slow. Other than that, our four days in Palm Springs were fabulous!

We had no trouble finding an unoccupied pool or hot tub, we had our choice of tennis courts every day, and fresh lemons on the tree right outside our door. The desk staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I can not say enough about this place and can not wait until we return!

Even though the rooms are dated, they were very comfortable and our unit had a washer and dryer.
We also had a lemon tree out back covered with lemons!!! Being for NC we loved this!! You definitely need a rental car to get around. We went to the outlets in Cabazon and do not miss Palm Desert for shopping. Also, loved the shops and restaurants in downtown Palm Springs. We made a day trip to Los Angeles and Hollywood. The staff at this resort is excellent an the grounds are immaculate. (Also, if you play golf you can get a free golf club rental check at front desk.)

We were in a 2 bedroom plus den/2 car garage/2 bath. This condo was WONDERFUL!!

Check-in was technically at 4:00 PM, however, we arrived at 1:30 PM, and the friendly guy at the front desk was more than happy to let us check in early. We had the keys in our hand, and were in our lovely condo in under 7 minutes!

The condo has granite countertops, soaring ceilings, lovely paint tones in warm browns/beige tones and just tons and tons of space! There is a gas BBQ grill, two separate patios and lots of private green space that is only accessible via your patio doors (wish you could pay extra and bring your pet!!). The condo was spotlessly clean. Beds were firm but comfortable. 2nd bedroom does NOT have a TV. Speaking of TV, I love that Vacation Internationale condos have GREAT TV channel choices! Definitely much, much better than your average hotel with 12 or 13 channels! You even get all the major shopping channels!! Hubbie liked having A & E as well as the History channel. The Den/3rd bedroom in this unit had a full size Murphy Bed, so this would be great for families or large parties.

It was just my husband & I so we really could have gone with a smaller condo, but we had extra points that were going to expire, so we figured, "What the heck"?!

The resort grounds are lovely! You enter thru a very secure gate (you access it with your room key when you pull up in your car). The front desk/main building where the main pool, tennis courts, morning coffee, afternoon ice cream sundaes, etc. are is so lovely with babbling streams, fountains and tons and tons of flowering plants. Feels like Maui in the desert!

Staff is friendly and try hard to make you happy.

Location is convenient. There is a Vons grocery store about 2 mins from the condo (walkable), and the main shopping/eating/entertainment area of Palm Springs is about 3 miles away (be sure to eat at Trio! You will LOVE it!). Costco is about a 20 min. drive, should you need a 'Costco Fix' while you are in Palm Springs... Casinos are also fairly close by (10-20 mins by car).

The condo does come with 2 bikes, but since there is a helmet law in CA, and we did not have helmets, we did not use the bikes. I noticed lots of bike riders around town with no helmets, so I am not sure how strictly this law is enforced.

The other guests were very friendly and there was generally a very good/friendly vibe to the Oasis.

Seriously, this condo is truly wonderful and I found my husband, on several occasions, dreaming of being able to use this as his retirement 2nd home, one day.

No complaints (other than 2nd bedroom not having a TV), at all...
