“A gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

This is a retro property, with eight rooms framing a lovely heated pool and hot tub. Hummingbirds abound in this oasis of peace and quiet, and it's spoiled me...I'll never go back to a mega resort again! Chris and Barb are terrific, very welcoming and helpful. It's within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs, but the neighborhood is very quiet. There is even a gas grill outside for use of the Inn's guests. The room (we had #6) had a small kitchen, a large shower with two shower heads, and a very comfortable bed. No dings here...just a fantastic place to stay.

“"Just Perfect"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

This was a return trip to The Coyote Inn and, again, such a relaxing, perfect time. The inn reflects the continual hard work and love that the owners, Chris and Barb, pour into their home. They live on-site and are always helpful if needed, but never intrusive. The Coyote Inn is truly a gem....quiet, friendly and perfectly located to walk three blocks to the main street for countless restaurants and shops. We thought about purchasing a get-away property in Palm Springs, but, would miss Barb and Chris too much!!

Room Tip: Each room slightly different; all great.

“Your Own Private Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

This was our first visit to Palm Springs, and thanks to the Coyote Inn, we didn't get to see much else! (This is meant as a compliment to the property and Barb & Chris, the owners). We felt so comfortable and relaxed that we just didn't want to travel too far.

The Inn is located in a quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance to the downtown and other local attractions. There are only seven units, so you may find yourself having the entire pool and hot tub to yourself, if no one else is around. The rooms are large, clean and well maintained. Each unit has a kitchen for making meals if you don't feel like going out, and a fireplace to take away the evening chill in the winter months. There is a television and DVD player, along with an extensive collection of movies in the office and popcorn!

We especially liked the firepit by the pool. As it was winter, it helped to extend the amount of time we could stay outside by the pool. In the evening, we would gather around it with the other guests to share our experiences from that day and just enjoy each others company.

What brings it all together are the owners - Barb & Chris. They live on site so are always available if there is anything you need, but are never intrusive. They truly make you feel at home.

Room Tip: All rooms look great. Do not hesitate to ask the owners if you have a special request.

“A Gem Among Gems, Pretty Neighborhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

So peaceful, so pretty, so secure. I can't top what everyone else has said about this place, but I can add that I've never felt more like I was in my own home (except in my own home). This is due of course to the warmth and caring of the owners. The Coyote Inn is really a form of therapy disguised as a hotel. :)
We make a point of trying new hotels every time we travel to the Palm Springs area, but I'm breaking my own rule and booking another stay for this weekend.

“Loved it!”

Just returned from a blissful 3 days at The Coyote Inn. Everything was perfect...the beautiful property, the peaceful ambiance, the salt water pool, the amazing hummingbirds (you've got to see them here to believe it...more than we've ever seen anywhere), and the gracious hosts...Barb and Chris. A wonderful spot if you enjoy comfort, beauty, and quiet.
