My Husband and I had never been to a clothing optional resort and were hesitant.
However from the moment we arrived everyone made us feel welcome and at ease, We loved that the rooms were spotless and well maintained, all areas of the resort were clean and all we had to do was mention we needed anything and help was there, we enjoyed massages in the Spa and they were totally amazing, nice guests, great continental breakfast, I can't speak more highly of the place, we extended our stay twice, that's how much we enjoyed it.
We rave about the place to everyone and we can't wait to stay there again

My husband and I enjoyed the people, the property and the entire stay. After years of staying at another resort which has become run down and awful, La Dolce Vita was a breath of fresh air.

My partner and I stayed at La Dolce Vita and had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is a very relaxing enviornment and all the fellow guests we came in contact with were all very friendly. The age range is very wide at La Dolce Vita and we really didn't run into anyone with any "attitude". The staff is fantastic. They are extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast is delicious and the cocktail social on Fri. and Sat. nights is a great way to start your evening and get to know everyone. The pools and hot tubs are very nice and the steam room feels great. We did not take advantage of the spa facility and it's offerings, but we heard great things about it. We may try them next time. If you are there "only looking for one thing", yes, it's there, but not as in your face as it is at other resorts. This was our first time at this particular resort in Palm Springs and would stay here again. We look forward to doing so in the future. There are many exciting additions and impovements being made to La Dolce Vita that we heard about so we can't wait to see them on our next visit.

It's been a while since I've been to Palm Springs and I was pleasantly surprised when I stayed at La Dolce Vita on a recent trip to the desert. It's really a wonderful little oasis, with a charming staff, beautiful landscape and incredibly pleasant environment to skinny dip for an afternoon -- and an evening, and a late night and a morning and a mid-morning and...

One of the other nice things about the resort is that the "sexual temperature" of the place was low and subdued. I've been to several other resorts that have basically been bathhouses with mist-machines. That's not LDV. If you were looking for that, you could find it. If not, your personal vacation wasn't interrupted by something unwanted.

As a writer, I'm always looking for great, quiet places to get away and write. I'm planning coming back to LDV in the new year for another restful and productive holiday.
