“Love Ingleside Inn”

This was our first time we stayed here, and it was for our 29th Anniversary. The atmosphere was reminiscent of another time, when Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and the like would have have stayed here.. Melvyn's Restaurant was outstanding. The people were very friendly and helpful. The beautiful grounds have the backdrop of the nearby mountains, close to downtown, but tucked away, so you had the best of both worlds. We are planning on making the Ingleside Inn an annual destination.

Room Tip: Room over lounge too loud. Take a suite or Villa

“Ingleside Inn - Our home in the desert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

We first came to Ingleside in August 2010. I did a Tripadvisor review of the property at that time and we NEVER stay anywhere else when we're in the desert. LOVE the staff (Hi Armeda, Karen, Hal, Dan and Jose). LOVE the location. LOVE the grounds. Love the Club Sandwich for lunch at poolside. It's our home in the desert.

“AN OASIS IN THE DESERT”

My husband and I love the Ingleside Inn. The rooms are beautifully appointed; the staff is friendly and courteous and very eager to attend to every guest's needs; the grounds are meticulously maintained; and the location is walking distance to shopping on Palm Canyon Drive. There is a wonderful restaurant on the premises called Melvyn's. Aside from the wonderful cuisine there is a piano bar with top-notch nightly entertainment. You never know who might stop by - it's a great place for star gazing. We love the fact that the Ingleside Inn is on the historic register. When visiting Palm Springs, it's our favorite place to stay. It's a good value for the ambience and great amenities.

“Staying at Ingleside is always great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We've been staying at the Ingleside Inn for about12 years now and we've never been disappointed. It's a pretty simple, quiet and tucked away hotel so if you're looking for a place with a huge pool and slides for your kids, this place is not for you. However, if you're looking for a quiet place to relax, get great food and great customer service for you and your special someone, this is the perfect place. I recommend springing for one of the Villas or one of the larger rooms. Each room is unique and well decorated and one is more beautiful than the next. Ingleside Inn is conveniently located close to downtown although my husband and I seldom find the need to venture out. Also, Melvyn's which is Indelside Inn's restaurant makes some of the best steak we've ever eaten. And if you're not in the mood for dressing up, they'll bring your meal to your room. Love this place and will keep going there for years to come!

Room Tip: Pick a villa, 7 and 10 are both nice.

“Ingleside has it all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2011

We have been staying at the Ingleside for nearly 20 yrs. We love the serenity and beauty &
history of the Inn beside the mountain. The grounds are lovely, the staff is attentive and a pleasure to revisit year after year. Melvyn's restaurant and after dinner lounge has it all, great cuisine, atmosphere and entertainment. Even tho Ingleside is walking distance to town, there is really no need to leave the grounds at all, because the Ingleside Inn has everything right there!

Room Tip: Just ask the helpful reservationist on this, whether you're looking for more romantic or good v...
