best part about this Holiday Inn .... nobody bothers you and everything you need is there. Room was clean, pool and jacuzzi excellent. 2 night, 3 days ... no complaints.

Not the nicest or newest Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed in, but we got a great deal on Hotwire during the busy holiday week for a price that was too good to pass up.

Pros: well managed, accommodating staff; moved us to a king room on an upper floor after our first night (and had a little balcony). Better than average complimentary breakfast (a number of hot items each day), great location in Palm Desert. New flat screen TV's. Free 8oz waters available at the front desk. Clean pool area and hot tub. Pretty quiet rooms. Granted us a late check out as a Priority Club Member.

Cons: Don't stay on the first floor; get a room instead on the 2nd or 3rd floor. An empty room was broken into (from the outside) on the 1st floor during our stay (kids after a new flat screen TV, apparently). Rooms/sink area are rather small. Beds a little too firm for my liking. Pool area looks out on a power station. Only one elevator which gets a lot of use.

Stayed here for one night and quickly moved on next day. Drawn by the cut price ($10 cheaper than Cathedral City Holiday Inn) but they make up the cheaper price with poor cleaning.

I would hate to know the history of this but the phone in our room beside the bed was caked with brown stuff and the buttons covered in pubic hairs. On my out i mentioned this to the front desk and suggested their cleaning crew should include the phones in their room tasks, Without looking up, she wrote it down, not a word in response, no apology, nada. Rooms dated, breakfast nook next to front door so you get a blast of cold air as each new person leaves. This is why you're getting the joint for $10 cheaper.

We had stayed at the best western resort hotel next door last year for extended stay, very clean, lovely staff, full breakfast for free in large room and at cheaper rate than the Holdiay Inn. We decided on the holiday Inn to get our points - big mistake. A lot of hotels in Palm Springs, close your eyes and pick one - you can do better than this one.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early October at the end of our 3 week holiday travelling around California and Arizona. It was a great hotel to unwind in and the rooms were nicely decorated.

Breakfast was always good with plenty of variety, however the coffee is awful, so bitter!! Just a small complaint!

The hotel is situated within 2 minutes drive of some nice restaurants and shops.

The swimming pool area is relaxing, with plenty of sun beds, towels etc.

Would definitely stay here again.
