My wife and I stayed here for one night. The staff is friendly and the hotel is pet friendly ten dollar pet fee. The location is great,half Adblock off of 111, and about two blocks from El Paseo shopping. The only complaint was the room smelled of cigarette smoke, which wafted up from the floor below. All in all a good value

Palm Desert is a unique environment, and when this unique hotel name appeared on a list of recommendations that were mostly chains, I decided to give it a try. i was hoping for something of a boutique experience, and that's exactly what I got. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the setting, a two-story U-shape around a sunny pool and jacuzzi, colorful bougainvillea on the fence, had a wonderfully retro-chic feel to it. it's not luxurious, but it's definitely comfortable, and the free wi-fi was a big plus. Breakfast was included: simple, but enough choices to satisfy. The location was good for my needs, not far from El Paseo and the Living Desert, reasonably convenient to stores and restaurants. I do wish there had been more toiletries than the wall-mount liquid soap! If you want quality shampoo and conditioner or soap, bring your own. Otherwise, check in, make yourself comfortable, and soak up the retro-chic Palm Desert vibe. Excellent value at an attractive price point.

We repeated our end of October visit to the charming Inn at Deep Canyon and were thoroughly delighted with our stay, as with the prior three times. The hosts were very helpful, polite and add to the relaxing atmosphere of the Inn. We were fortunate to get Suite 210, which has to be the best spot on the premises! A separate bedroom with its own full bathroom (with the greatest room darkening drapes) , plus a large living/dining/kitchen area (with utensils, appliances, etc) , plus a balcony viewing the mountains (breakfast time and sunset cocktail hour), plus a full bathroom in the living area, plus two full sized mirrored closets (with loads of hangers); need I say more! Of course, the room was clean and spotless, as were the
premises. Eating dinner out is easy, just walk across the street to Cactus Jack's and have the best Prime Rib and generous drinks in town!
And, oh yeah, they don't have any of those annoying "facility charges"!

We found this hotel through a discount site and called to make a reservation. They were so nice and helpful my wife and I were starting to believe their statement" Come as a guest leave as family". Well by Saturday am, we were hooked, we immediately booked another weekend and set up for us to bring a group of friends.

The day we checked in there was not a non-smoking room available for us, so they brought in an ionizer and desmoked the room. With the great pool that is open all hours, the bbq grills it's a great place to just hang out and relax.
