The rooms are comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast is delicious. It's a great place to stay if you want to save some money.

Reading some of the other reviews here you would think those who wrote them are used to staying at the Ritz. I have stayed here many times over the past year for work, and the experience has always been a very enjoyable one. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are kept clean, wifi works great, there is a simple but sufficient breakfast in the morning, and the place is homey. Sure the washer and drier are outside, and the highway side is noisy, but the place is also two blocks form a gorgeous beach! I have stayed in many hotels in my life, as I travel a lot for work and leisure, and for the price and area this one is great!

First sign in lobby area said, "We are not responsible or items left in your car." Front desk was a glass enclosed window with a speaker and slot. No handicap amenities. Single elevator was broken off and on depending on the floor (there are three.) Coin operated washer and dryer as well as the ice machine were outside under cover against the back wall of hotel. Matress on bed had valleys. Bathroom had no anti slip mat, no treads in tub, no hand rails, no towel rack, no soap rack...stepped into wet tub and slipped and fell. Chair at desk was broken. Continental breakfast was one air pot of coffee, milk in a carton, cereals in bulk tupperware containers, orange juice, danish in boxes. Wrote to chain and management...chain said they were sorry and referred to only lending their name. Nothing from management. The only saving grace was it was clean.

I stayed there for two months, July and
August 2011. it is a good value hotel. fairly clean could use new carpets. A bit Noisy on the hwy side, I would stay there again.
