I went on their website and saw one queen room available for $70, and one double queen for $79. I called to ask a question about the room amenities and was told the last $70 room was just booked. I asked about the double queen and she said it’s not available for only one night.
Well, I returned to the website about 15 minutes later and it still showed both these room options. I had entered in the correct date and for one night only. So I called back to ask again why it is still listed on the website, and is it definitely booked already? She said yes it’s booked.
I said what if I were to book it on the website, then I’d show up and my room would not be available? She said I would probably be given a call after booking to tell me it’s not really available. I said, well then can you honor the $70 price listed on your website but give me an upgrade or some other room? The manager had to call me back, only to tell me NO, they would not honor the $70 price.
Although I would have been willing to pay $79 for a room, I was so angered by this lack of customer service and the fact they would rather lose my business than honor the price on their website, that I will never stay here. Instead I am staying at the Lovers Point Inn, for which I paid $99 – hope it was worth it Sea Breeze to keep your $9, yet lose my business and get a bad review!
