Very nice location being a walk from the beach and a short drive to the best golf on the west coast. We stayed three days with a large group in a 5 bedroom and three more days with just my wife and I in a king unit. Both were fantastic and the management handled us perfectly. They were accomodating and allowed us in our second room early without any problems. They made our stay one to remember. Everything needed to cook and eat was easy to find and in great shape. The unit was clean and kept up very well. And the fireplace made both units even that much nicer. Well done and we hope to come back soon.

Wonderful location - 5 minute walk to beach. Quiet neighborhood. Owners/staff were helpful, pleasant. We stayed in a king unit (NOT cottage); I think it was #26 (it was not the one next to the office, which other reviewers had expressed dissatisfaction with). Very spacious, tile floors, comfortable bed. The "kitchenette" had everything you could want - bowls, glasses, cups, full size coffee maker, and so on. Because we stayed on a Monday/Tuesday we had a reduced rate, and it was worth every penny. Why I didn't rate this 5 stars - thin walls for the shared unit; but this would vanish if you rented one of the cottages. I really want to return here and stay longer and make use of the hot tub and grill. :)

We loved staying at the Andril. We were in #13 and enjoyed cooking our own breakfast each morning. The place is clean and comfortable, and most importantly for us: quiet. It was so nice to crack the window and listen to the distant ocean. Owners were very helpful when we had questions about the locale, etc. Only two suggestions that would make the place perfect: 1) in the bathroom: add a grab bar for getting out of the tub and a wall hook for robes/clothes, and 2) add a kitchen towel bar to hang towels after cleaning up the kitchen. Otherwise, a really nice outfit here.

My wife and I at the Andril Fireplace Cottages for 2 nights during a visit to Pacific Grove... We'll look to stay there again when we return to the west coast. The rooms were clean, charming, well located, and a great value. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The office had a wonderful selection of complimentary movies and snacks to choose from and the staff was very knowledgeable of the local area.... We loved the cottages.
