It feels like it should be a hotel/resort, but also like it is short- staffed. We'd been promised a room online with a fireplace, which when we arrived had been supposedly booked by someone else. I really protested that that was the reason we'd just driven two hours, but to no avail. They said the computers weren't their problem, and that we should have called instead of reserved online. Then they put is into a neighboring room, then moved our things to the new room the next day. I don't think anyone ever was in the original one, only that the staff hadn't cleaned it before they left and the clerks at the desk couldn't fix that. THe setting is lovely. Can feel as if you're at someone else's quilting or religious conference. Food is reminiscent of big conferences with eggs in catering trays.
