The Hotel is run down, mold in the bathrooms which could be easily cleaned but has not been in a very long time. That says a lot about the Hotel. They don't care. It is a great location... so what? It is a shame.

We spent the night at this hotel because we were familiar with the location and remembered it to be a very nice place to stay 10 years ago... Well it is still a great location but the hotel is very old and tired. It appears they are getting ready to tear it down and have deferred maintenance until they do. The pool was drained so if we had a family we would have been very disappointed. The wireless free Internet was nice but did not reach to our room so we used it in the lobby. The help is very nice and the free continental breakfast was a nice feature. All in all I would probably choose the Hampton Inn next door that is new and cost about $50.00 per night more if I needed more than a place to sleep.
First, the presentation of the hotel was horrible it looked rundown the yard was a mess.
Second, i thought that the elevator was going to stop any minute.
Thrid, the room was ugly and smely i thought i was going to throw up.
Fourth, the breakfast was simple and only about two iteams.
Fourth, price was NOT WORTH paying for. i think a motel would of been better.
I was trying to impress my wife for our 25th anniversary, but now i feel dumb for taking my lovng wife to a cheap hotel. PLEASE read ALL of the reviews befor booking this hotel.
Yes this is not the newest but the staff if friendly and happy to do everything to make your stay good The view from the balcony is beautiful and relaxing. As far as the bird droppings on the patio ... well I guess they have to try harder to train the wild birds to cleanup after themself. I have stayed at this property several times now sometimes because is was all that was available and the price was right but i also happen to find it kind of charming and I love to wakeup in the morning and sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee (which is free downstairs along with fruit, rolls, juice) and watch the boats in the harbor,. I have sat on my balcony in the afternoon and watched tennis matches and live concerts. You can take a walk along the water, sit in the park, play tennis all right outside your door. No it is not the fanciest but it is comfortable.
Hello folks:
What was important for me was either a view of the beach/ocean or Marina/Harbor, I'm pieses what can I say...lol.... I ended up with the One Bedroom Suite, view of the Marina at Casa Sirena. The balcony was a very nice size, prob 15L x 5W, howver, the balcony had left over bird droppings, which I did not mind, because I had the Marina view, and willing to overlook. The unit was in the center of the the building. All basic utlities, gas stove, frig. Also if you have kids, there's a little park with swings and slides, if you want to just get out of the room.
I would stay again for the price, view, and the size of the unit. Walking distance just over the bridge what looked like a fishers wharf (I think), did not get a chance.
I will download photos soon ...thanks!
AND YES. STAFF WAS VERY KIND A VERY HELPFULL!!!
