“Treats a customer who has stayed there about 100 times like a dog!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

Just stay away from this place! There are plenty of other Motels and Hotels in the area of Blue Springs, MO. The manager at the Blue Springs, MO Motel 6 was downright rude and it was uncalled for. Upper management in Corporate offices were informed (guest relations) and they were worthless. Am pursuing with The Charmain of The Board (Mr. Ambrosia's office) so, I'll update their response...My good friend , who is nearing 80 was the guest and I've been there many, many times to meet him. He's from out of town and chooses this location , however the manager (Mike Kimble) just treated him like a dog for no reason whatsoever and this is wrong because my friend supports 40 + charities and is a very sensitive person. This manager hurt his feelings for no reason and I won't stand for it. I and my friend will see to it that everywhere online we can let people know we will about this terrible experience. If Corporate gets back to me and does something humane about the situation I'll be happy to say so in this review, revise it and keep you all up to date. If any one of you had gone through what we have with this manager and This Motel 6 in Blue Springs, MO you would probably be starting a law suit. 1-06-2012

“Good value for the LA area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2011

The hotel was clean but the carpet had many stains and there were many holes in the walls that could have been filled in to make the place look a little better. The lobby is very nice and this is by far the nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in.

The location is great just off of I-10 and very accessible to many activities and areas. Our room also had a fairly sizeable (for a hotel) refrigerator and microwave and the TV had a good variety in channels.

There were some sketchy people staying in the hotel though. Some of which I think lived there and I was happy to have my husband with me or I would have been a little uncomfortable.

The price was high for a Motel 6 but very reasonable for that part of California. I would recommend this for a few day stay where you don't plan on staying in the room much.

“GREAT VALUE for the Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2009

Got an internet price of $55 for 2 people. Amazing value considering it includes a pretty decent breakfast (make your own fresh Belgian waffles, french toast, breads, toasts, yogurt, several different cereals, milk, juice, coffee, tea, scrambled-like eggs, sausage, and some starches. They also have an evening social hour and offer complimentary snack foods. Although we didn't partake, last night's offering was BBQ ribs and corn. There is a full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, full size stove/oven, toaster and coffee maker in the room. They even supply cutting board, dishwashing liquid, a set of plates/glasses, The King bed was comfortable. The shower pressure is great. The shower drain is great. It does smell a little musty, though. And I don't think the renovation got to the 3rd floor yet. There's a TV in the living room as well as one in the bedroom (not flat panels). If you are accustomed to foreign hotels, this hotel will suit you fine. If you are accustomed to American standards and prefer Hyatt's, etc., you probably will not like this hotel. The parking is complimentary. For us, the advantages far outweighed the disadvantages. Oh, and there is free WIFI in the room. This was an overall great value.

“Not bad for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2009

I found it to be a fairly generic hotel, but the price was great and the room was comfortable enough. Lot's of locks on the door, which made me wonder about security in the area. Although there were some strange characters around, I had no problems and felt safe.
