“Pleasant enough, no real complaints”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I won this hotel bidding on Priceline, got a great deal and couldn't complain. I was a little turned off at first, when I was given a room on the first floor, but it was quite a distance from the main lobby and just a few steps away from the pool so it worked out well enough. The staff was polite, the room was clean although the bathroom was smaller than I'm used to; I had to close the door just so I could use the toilet. The beds were comfortable, and clean and the only small complaint I have is the volume of the fan as it turns on--I woke up every time it started up again, and it got so irritating that I just decided to leave it on the entire night as it was disruptive on the 'auto' setting. But, that's something minute and reparable. Also, because I didn't have a car, I wish there was more to eat/do within walking distance (Ontario Mills is nearby, but a bit of a walk away...)
All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would return.

Thank you Audilim for sharing your thoughts on your stay at our hotel. We're pleased to read that you thought well of our staff, the cleanliness of our rooms, and the comfort of our Hilton Suite Dreams beds. We have a Benihana, Black Angus Steakhouse, and El Torito Mexican restaurant within a 3 minute walk of the hotel and I wish we had made sure you knew about these options. We do have a great on-site restaurant, Blu Bar & Grill but understand sometimes everyone wants to go off property and explore. Thanks for letting us know about the bathroom ceiling fan and we've addressed that. We hope we'll have the opportunity to see you again!

“HILTON NEVER AGAIN!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

First of all let me say that the room was ok and the front desk staff was very nice, HOWEVER I booked this hotel thru priceline name your own price which you are locked into and I have never booked this way so when i found out it was Hilton and i got a great deal I was happy, but after getting to hotel i found out you had to PAY TO PARK there $11.00 per night, you had to PAY for internet usage if you wanted to use it in your own room, you had to PAY for breakfast if you wanted it and they put a usa today paper at your door which they charge you .75 unless you take it back to front desk forhere credit (I found out at checkout you are not charged anymore). I am a Hilton HHonors member, I have only stayed at Hilton a few times, and I must say wheather this is a franchise or corporate unit they should be ashamed of nickle and diming guests for everything. I have stayed in Ontario before (right across the street at best western for one example) and have never been charged for anything and I got a free breakfast everyday!!! Business travelers may not care about this, but I do, and because of this bad experience I will NEVER stay at Hilton or any other hotels associated with it.!!!! SHAME ON YOU HILTON!!!!

For the benefit of all Trip Advisor travelers, there are pros and cons to booking with Priceline. The pros are you sometimes get a fantastic deal for a hotel that would normally cost substantially more. The cons are you don't know what hotel you're staying at until after booking, the cost of the hotel's a la carte restaurants and amenities can be more than what you need, you don't get a guaranteed room type, and there can be additional a la carte fees not included with the cost of a Priceline booked room. In this case, having valet parking is a great amenity, but may not be an amenity a particular guest wants. While wireless internet access is free in the lobby, pool, and restaurant areas, a guest may not want to pay to access it from the privacy of their room. And finally, if using Priceline exclusively for booking yoyur hotel stays, if you return to the same area again, and you like one hotel over another, your winning bid may have you returning to the hotel you like less or prefer not to stay at. Our hotel has many great reviews and we encourage TripAdvisor travelers to look at several reviews to make a fair and balanced decision on where to stay and how to book their room so they can stay at the hotel of their choice with the amenities, service, and product they desire to make their stay enjoyable and meet their expectations and budget.

Travel extensively and typically choose the Hilton family of hotels. This one did not disappoint. Good vale for the money.

“I will never stay here again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

I booked this hotel thru Priceline name your price option and got a great price, but when we arrive we found that we had to pay to park and pay for internet which increased the price by over $20.00 per night. When booking with Priceline you are unable choose which bed configuration you need, so they recommend calling the hotel to request what you need, which we did, but upon arrival they gave us a king after we requested two beds and it took awhile for them to change our room. Our room was unable to connect to wireless because of it's location and after calling the front desk everyday with a promise of a different room and call back (which we never recieved) we never were able to connect... I had to go to the lobby to do any work. The room was clean and well maintained, the ice machine was broken and never fixed, and a glass of juice from the bar cost $5.00... I have stayed at almost every 3.5 star hotel at the Ontario airport area and this is by far the worst one.

“Perfect New Year break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

person found this review helpful

My partner and I stayed here on 31 Dec - 1 Jan on a Livingsocial New Year's Eve getaway deal, largely because I was flying in from the UK that afternoon and we wanted a hassle-free way of celebrating the new year without having to do battle with drunk drivers on the 10 and without serious inconvenience for my partner if my flights were delayed.

The hotel was great and the service was impeccable. The room was spacious, clean, had everything you'd expect from a high end chain hotel, and everything worked. Despite a noisy and boistrous party taking place on the ground floor, there was no noise whatsoever in our room on the fifth. The meal was absolutely lovely: my partner is vegan and I am allergic to cheese (and so I guess we represent a nightmare couple for restaurant staff!), but the restaurant staff coped with this effortlessly and without any hint that we were putting them out.

In the past we've found that staying in hotels on a Livingsocial or Groupon deal tends to carry two occupational hazards: that you'll be whacked with a whole slew of hidden extras and charges upon check-out that weren't mentioned at the time of booking, and/or that the staff will treat you as second class citizens. There was not even a hint of either on this stay: everyone was as helpful and as friendly as could be, and there were absolutely no extra charges apart from the tax (which was made clear when booking).

We would not hesitate to stay here again, or to recommend this venue to others.

Thank you "Bedbugged" for a flattering review of our hotel and that you chose to bring in the New Year with us. This was our first time partnering with LivingSocial and we wanted it to be a first class experience! And healthy menu options are no problem for us as we've made a huge effort in 2011 to offer a myriad of healthy items, sugar free, gluten free, and vegan friendly. We hope you and your partner will have the occassion to see us again.
